MMEA is for mature adults (30+) who are ready for marriage but have not yet found the perfect match. Many of our clients are accomplished professionals or business leaders who have successfully built a life but have not yet found the person to settle down with.

We believe that at this stage of life, people often have greater clarity about who they are, what they value, and what they are seeking in a partner. MMEA is built to respect this maturity, life experience, and readiness. We are building a community of like-minded individuals focused on marriage and not casual flings.

Not at all. MMEA provides everyone who is looking for marriage an opportunity. This can be the never married, the divorced, the widowed, single parents etc. However, it is not for people who are already married. We build marriages and will not contribute to breaking another by matching someone who is already married.

MMEA is available to people outside East Africa such as the diaspora with strong ties to the region. MMEA will also admit non-East Africans who express interest, including people from the West such as Europe, Americas etc. so long as they sign up to the values of the platform.

No. MMEA is not a casual dating platform. MMEA is a matchmaking and connection platform designed specifically for individuals who are serious about marriage and long-term partnership.

Privacy is central to our design. First of all, we are certified by the Uganda Data Protection Office as meeting the requirements for data privacy. Secondly, member information is protected. We do not promote public visibility of member information. Pictures and additional private info will only be shared upon mutual consent. Members engage in a secure and respectful environment. We comply fully with Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019, and our practices ensure your data is safe, secure, and used only for intentional, marriage-focused matchmaking.

We will seek to first understand our client and their perfect match. Thereafter, we find suitable options whose profiles will be shared with the client. Matches are guided by shared values, life goals, readiness for marriage, and compatibility indicators rather than surface-level preferences. The process is designed to be thoughtful, calm, and deliberate.

MMEA is for individuals who are marriage-intentional, meaning they are open, ready, and purposeful about marriage, even if the journey unfolds thoughtfully and at the right pace.

Yes. Membership involves a fee, which helps maintain the quality, seriousness, and integrity of the platform. It also signals commitment and discourages casual participation.

Membership lasts as long as you need to find a marriage partner. However, MMEA offers a three- or six-month subscription plan, reflecting our belief that meaningful, marriage-focused connections take time. A three- or six-month period allows members to engage thoughtfully, build genuine connection, and assess compatibility without pressure or haste. It also supports consistency, seriousness, and trust within the community. A member is free to renew after that if they are not successful in the first attempt.

Yes. We recognise that life happens. Members can manage their engagement in a way that respects their personal circumstances and timing.

Yes, MMEA offers complementary services, including counselling and therapy. We have a list of therapists that a client can choose from, but this comes with an added cost.
